L3Harris Technologies has openings for Lead, System Integration & Test Eng.
This position will be responsible for providing support to plan, design, build, integrate, and test Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) required to power on and test electrical functions of Space payloads or/and Space Vehicles within our Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) business unit of L3Harris Corporation.
This position will be responsible for leading the requirements definition (software and hardware), design, test, troubleshooting, and operation of EGSE, Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), cable harness, and the documentation (i.
e.
, test plan, procedures) used to support the development of the EGSE racks.
The candidate will also participate in EGSE integration, design reviews, selloff, and provide support with resolution of anomalies related to the EGSE design.
In addition, the candidate will lead the operation of EGSE during payload and Space Vehicle (SV) integration, functional testing, environmental qualification, SV End-to-End testing, and launch operations.

Essential Functions:
Responsible of the design, analysis, build, integration, and test of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used for Payload / Space Vehicle testing
Generating system test documentation (e.
g.
, Test Requirements Documents, Test Design Documents and Test Procedures) and directing support personnel in the day-to-day execution of the system test readiness tasks
Must have strong program leadership skills and space system development execution expertise
Responsible for managing medium, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams
Planning and supporting the build process of EGSE in the areas of procurement, assembly method/test procedures generation, and cable harness design
Experience leading junior engineers to successfully execute a test program
Experience working with Systems Engineering and other engineering disciplines to provide compliant solutions
Support the root cause, troubleshooting, and corrective action process (as required)
Travel, as needed, for major test events, post-delivery support, and Space Vehicle integration activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable Engineering Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
5+ years of experience with EGSE design and operation
Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
