Job Summary We are hiring a Business Manager to join our Innovation & Technology Team.
The Business Manager is responsible for overseeing the work of business analysts and ensuring that business requirements are effectively captured, with input across all stakeholders and properly documented & communicated to the development teams.
They play a crucial role in bridging the gap in understanding business needs and translating them into requirements that can be properly scoped and developed.
This role requires a deep understanding of the market, customers, and technology to create the right portfolio of projects that generates value and ROI for the company.
To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
Role and Responsibilities To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and should demonstrate the following competencies to consistently perform the essential functions of this position.

Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success in the face of aggressive growth plans.
Leadership: manage and develop 4-6 analysts Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent.
Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of projects that utilize technology to implement concepts designed to deliver on new go-to-market strategies.

Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against plans.
Develop metrics and KPIs that help achieve clear objectives and drive the transformation of the PMO (Project Management Organization) to a VMO (value management organization).

Partnership: Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the company including senior leadership to drive successful projects.
Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
Qualifications and Education Requirements A bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Management, or a related field in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Strong understanding of business analysis principles and the ability to communicate progress and report on the right metrics and KPIs to demonstrate success and track results.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, conceptual, and decision-making skills.
Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills including executing an agenda in a sometimes uncertain and fluid environment.
Experience working as a Business (Analyst/Analysis) Manager, Product Manager, or PMO Manager.
Solid people leadership experience: Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as stakeholder partners across the company.
Relevant PMO or Business Analysis certifications.
Experience with Project Management & PMO software tools.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions and define clear results with an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Outlook.
A track record of following through on commitments.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business and supporting/leading successful projects.
Physical Demands While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs).
Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, and reading, being able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.
In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist or stoop to open/close cabinets, and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
Work Environment The office environment is quiet and, in a temperature, controlled setting with random adjustments in noise or temperature due to conversations, unscheduled maintenance repairs to the building or its interior offices, or unpredictable situations due to weather or other acts beyond company control.
An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule for their duties and/or job responsibilities and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on the company/department needs, project requirements, or customer demands.
