Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Logistics Program Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Product Support.
This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
This Program Manager will manage execution of all Product Support work across an International IPT.
This position consists of direct support to programs with the potential for people management.
Technical areas of responsibility include: Reliability, Maintainability & Testability Design for Supportability Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Maintenance Planning Availability/Operations & Support (O&S) Modeling Support Equipment Engineering Training & Training Systems Technical Data Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage and integrate the Product Support efforts listed above.
Managing execution Product Support on work to support delivery of Production Aircraft.
Be the single point of accountability for accomplishing program objectives for the team.
Identify and communicate design and issue impacts across the larger logistics community on the program to drive design changes and ensure all program and customer requirements are addressed.
Prepare and manage project schedule and budgets to include EVMS (where required) and prepare status reports on the health of the projects.
Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.
Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Prepare briefings for management/customer and develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, suppliers and clients.
Provide management, guidance and development of the Logistics Production Team As a leader, you always act with integrity, and the highest ethical standards characterize everything you do.

Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Logistics, OR a Master’s degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Logistics.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher).
Previous Program Management experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Defense Acquisition Logistics Knowledge of the Engineering Change Proposal process Extensive experience leading a team and developing talent, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Experience integrating Logistics efforts across the disciplines described above.
Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Profit/Loss (P&L).
Experience working with International Foreign Military programs and ITAR requirements.
Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
