What will you do? Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an Assistant Facility Manager.
This position is located at our Melbourne, Florida, facility.
There may be occasional travel to locations in Fairfax, Virginia, and Baltimore, Maryland.
The successful applicant will become part of a world-class team and work collaboratively with an outstanding group of geographically dispersed employees to support the development and production of advanced electronic systems for the DoD and other customers.
The Assistant Facility Manager will be responsible for all aspects of facilities management for Azure Summit Technology’s Melbourne, Florida, facility.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, changing priorities, and a team environment.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Melbourne facility and respond to emergencies Maintain facility appearance standards Complete basic facility task at multiple facilities such as painting, cleaning, basic repairs, assembly of various items.
Drive company vehicle making scheduled runs between Azure’s multiple facilities assisting the warehouse in moving equipment and material.
Escort service providers and other visitors as needed Communicate with building representatives as needed Activities to include hands-on supervision of multiple vendors (i.
e.
, plumbers, electricians, etc.
) Assist Facility manager with calibration of equipment and calibration log sheet.
Complete daily walk throughs in facilities identifying, correcting, or reporting any issues that may cause a safety hazard.
Assist Facilities Manager with, personnel, outside agencies, and programs to ensure successful execution of on-site activities, meetings, events, and operations.
Oversee facilities while facility manager is off site, or out of the office.
Ensure compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings Basic Requirements US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement High school diploma Minimum 2 years of facilities management experience working within a cleared government contractor facility Preferred Requirements Facilities Management Professional (FMP) Certification 5 years or more facilities management experience working within a cleared government contractor facility Availability to work off-hours emergencies and holidays Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles Azure Summit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
