The Opportunity
To assist in duties within the Quality Assurance Department
The QA Supervisor works closely with QA operational and compliance teams in support functions to ensure compliance to relevant SOPs and cGMP standards.
Main Responsibilities
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
The QA Supervisor functions includes but are not limited to:
Reviews and analyses cases, notes deficiencies, and extracts data to be verified; collects performance data; identifies adverse trends; and determines compliance with internal and industry standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide floor support to site Operations as needed for sampling, line clearance, troubleshooting, and other support functions.
Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards.
Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
Identify training needs and take action to ensure companywide compliance.
Provide support to the Quality department including the following:
Review of completed batch records and issuance of CoAs
Scanning/sending batch records to internal and external customers
Control, distribution & archiving of incoming quality documentation
Support of the Training System
Manage and assist in the preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures relating to own areas of responsibility.
Display cGMP attitude at all times
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and projects through challenging current working practices with a view of improving efficiencies and Quality standards.
Prioritize own workload and ensure key quality issues and business priorities are addressed, escalated appropriately and resolved in a timely manner.
Undertake customer contact when necessary.
Any other duties which may properly be assigned to this post.

Bachelor degree in Science related field or equivalent experience
Supervisory experience

Ideally previous experience of working in a cGMP manufacturing environment
General appreciation of factory operating systems is desirable
