General oversight and productivity of the strategic sourcing department.
Supervise the strategic sourcing team.
Seek process improvements within the department and campus community.
Oversee the strategic sourcing processes, policies and build upon them.
Continue building the centralization of strategic sourcing to add value and efficiency for the University.
Maintain all contracts in Workday utilizing your team and expertise.
Build communications with the campus community to teach and inform the proper procedures needed to utilize the department in the correct manner, cradle to grave PO system.
Requirements: Mentor and build a team of strategic sourcing professionals.
Guide them upon reviewing output and deadlines following strategic sourcing procedures and guidelines.
Provide training as needed.
Work with Director of Business Services to develop and communicate a strategic sourcing business plan, long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of strategic sourcing activities including supplier performance, supplier quality, and internal order placement performance within Workday.
Build synergies with accounting, accounts payable, finance and strategic sourcing staff to understand the business flows and processes.
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the director of business services.
Work with the director of business services to manage strategic sourcing policies, procedures and programs with focus on the enhancement of organizational value and efficiency.
Maintain and upload departmental and functional forms, policies,procedures, supplier website for contract pricing agreements to the e-marketplace, p-card functions, procedures, and training videos on the strategic sourcing intra-website.
Meet regularly with university departments regarding strategic sourcing service needs, policies, procedures, and gain feedback on how to improve and gain synergy between departments and strategic sourcing.
Point of contact to review and complete consultant forms, master service agreements(MSA) and acquire signatures for such documents from executives.
Review, process, and release request for proposals(RFP).
Must provide cost breakdown per bid.
Distribute RFP's back to the department for approval.
Develop bids and proposals.
Process purchase orders from the bids, proposals, and requisitions.
Work with the accounts payable manager and departments to reconcile and invoice discrepancies.
Work with director of business services to develop institutional training programs to be offered live or online to raise awareness of strategic sourcing processes and opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech’s 2023 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public properly within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.
