Medical Data Systems, Inc is looking for an Insurance Manager Collections to oversee the operations and training of about 70 employees to meet and exceed corporate goals and quality standards.
This is a full-time Insurance Manager Collections role that comes with a favorable salary and the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.
As an Insurance Manager Collections, you will oversee the operations and training of about 70 employees to meet and exceed corporate goals and quality standards.
You will also be responsible for meeting the monthly revenue budget for two offices.
In your first few weeks in this Insurance Manager role, you can expect to:
Work with the operations manager to ensure good client relationships and provide feedback during conference calls as necessary.
Recruit staff and oversee training, cross training and development.
Counsel staff as appropriate and handle personnel issues including reviews and disciplinary actions.
To apply for this Insurance Manager Collections role, you will need a high school diploma with at least three years of experience in the collections or hospital insurance collections business or the equivalent.
You will also require the following:
A firm grasp of healthcare A/R
Experience managing a large staff, preferably in a hospital business office, multi-physician practice, CBO or collection agency insurance department.
Medical Insurance Collections experience a plus
Knowledge of HIPAA, FDCPA and FCRA laws.
