Product Manager
Key Role:
Manage tasks and initiatives associated with product development life cycle for digital products and services for a Department of Veterans Affairs platform that serves veterans by connecting their information when and where the information is needed.
Drive the design and implementation of multiple API offerings relating to the details of veteran service enabling the identification and eligibility of veterans for benefits and services.
Apply specific functional knowledge along with working or general industry knowledge.
Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of team members.
Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Software Product Owner or Product Manager Experience in client services and interacting with all levels of management Experience with IT portfolio, program, and project management Experience facilitating technical, functional, and operational discussions to bridge client requirements with implementable solutions Knowledge of Agile principles and practices Ability to motivate teams and clients to accomplish a common client vision Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information across various technical and functional stakeholders Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to constantly changing requests Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience as a Software Product Owner or Product Manager in lieu of degree Additional Qualifications: Experience facilitating large-scale meetings with hands-on government clients including senior staff Experience in federal IT consulting as a support contractor, government staff, or industry staff Experience working with teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Experience solving complex problems with both traditional and out-of-the-box solutions Experience with large-scale project management, business process improvement, organizational transformation, and digital transformation projects Experience working within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ability to gather and communicate client business requirements and translate them into potential solutions Possession of excellent problem-solving, client relationship, facilitation, management, Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Project Management or Agile Certification Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.
00 to $166,000.
00 (annualized USD).
