The Operations Manager will work in close collaboration with the Final Assembly Line (FAL) Manager, sharing resources and facilities to assure high performance and customer satisfaction for both operations.
Specifics Include:
Sales support providing cost estimates, customer coordination and statement of work development.
Customer support through regular communication and status reporting.
Responsible for direct customer communication including hosting them onsite from time to time.
Implement and coordinate each project’s workflow to assure on-time performance.
Lead purchasing and supply chain activities providing direction and priorities to purchasing.
Manage the inventory control process including stores, shipping, and receiving.
Manage the Work Order/Repair Order system to control and document the work performed.
Manage active cost collection including labor and material costs using a combination of automated and manual (spreadsheet) methods.
Assure that the team has the necessary equipment and tooling available to complete the obligated work, coordinating with other FACC sites as required.
Supervise all activities in the shop, including personnel management
Assure the team stays current with all requirement training in coordination with Wichita.
Maintain the Environmental, Safety and Health Systems of the Facility.
Assure the Facility and Equipment remain safe and effective.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
7 Years of Aerospace industry experience, including familiarity with FAA regulatory requirements.
Both Part 145 (Repair Station) and Part 21 (Manufacturing) experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience with manufacturing and business systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent project and program management skills.

Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office tools and related technology.
