The team is responsible for establishing a culture of data driven decision making and creating business value through promoting the application of data analytics techniques across a broad range of business areas.
They will regularly interact with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy data analytics systems that are aligned to our strategic roadmap.

Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement a Program-specific Data strategy that supports the Enterprise Data Strategy Build and lead a high performing team of data architects, engineers, and scientists.
Manage Data Science practices for prescriptive, predictive, diagnostic, descriptive, and cognitive analytics through automation, storage elasticity, and on-demand self service provisioning of all data types and lifecycles.
Enable storing, searching, processing, and securing of extremely large structured or unstructured data sets.
Proactively identify issues and inefficiencies within the business to develop and deploy solutions.
Drive the adoption of data analysis methodologies across program operations for improved performance analysis.
Lead the monitoring and analysis of operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities, and provide recommendations/solutions.
Actively engage with program leaders and key stakeholders to identify and understand operational problems.
Design and manage the data infrastructure, network, and system automation.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field of study with 9 years of related experience; OR Masters degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field of study with 7 years of related experience.
Significant experience with data analytics tools (e.
g.
, python, SQL, Tableau, etc.
) and techniques.
Experience with UX design and development.
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, prior to commencement of employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Excellent ability to communicate complex analytical subject matter across varied audiences.
Strong understanding of business and engineering processes, tools, and techniques.
Experience with large scale distributed software and agile software development methodologies.
Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Understanding of elastic data storage and archive storage lifecycle management Demonstrated technical leadership of product development teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven products.
Experience developing and executing data strategies that consider big data solutions such as data lakes and/or data warehouses.
Demonstrated experience developing product visions and fostering effective engineering teams.
Experience developing big data solutions related to elastic data storage and archive storage lifecycle management.
Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing insights from multiple data sources.
Experience with NoSQL Databases (e.
g.
, MongoDB, Neo4J, etc.
) Understanding of Northrop Grumman policy, process, and products.
Ability to make decisions with minimal support.
Experience in a program management role.
Current DOD Top Secret clearance.
Salary Range: $116,200 - $174,400 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
