Assistant Manager

About Us Our restaurant Citron Bistro is a thriving boutique style restaurant located on Vero Beach’s acclaimed island.
Known for our high-quality food mixed with friendly and efficient service in an upscale outdoor setting.
We’re looking for one candidate who can work with our front of house manager to operate the restaurant successfully by leading the staff to manage service as effectively as possible.
The ideal candidate should have quality restaurant experience mainly in serving/bartending.
They should be comfortable conversing with our high-end customers.
As well as an expertise at prioritizing duties and training the staff to operate as they would.
Candidate should be technologically savvy and able to resolve issues such as POS, printers, audio system, and etc.
They will lead by example and enforce rules and policies put in place by ownership.
Salary: based on experience Responsibilities * Remain current and compliant with correct HR policies.
* Ensure Payroll is completed accurately and on time.
* Team meetings with staff prior to service.
* Create job listings, interview candidates, hire and ensure appropriate training.
* Communicate expectations with staff to ensure prep for service is complete.
* Adapt service schedule with business needs.
Service * Direct and monitor service staff’s adherence to Citron’s hospitality standards.
* Ensure excellent maintenance and cleanliness of the dining rooms during service.
* Maintain positive relationship with kitchen leaders and line staff through service.
* Attend to guest- ensure excellent service and hospitality is provided for all.
* Establish successful side work schedule.
* Fill in as needed- assisting servers, food runners, server assistants, host, or kitchen wherever most needed.
Schedule 40+ hours/week Weekend availability Job Type: Full-time Pay: $51,000.
