Overview The Director of Information Technology is a member of the management team and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
You will work with the senior management team and represent the needs and status of the MARTAC IT infrastructure.
You will be responsible to communicate status to the MARTAC workforce as needed along with reporting to management.
In addition to the traditional IT role, this role requires the implementation of an IA capability compliant with CMMC, and RMF product accreditation as it pertains to the U.
S.
DoD.
The Director of Information Technology has the following high-level responsibilities: 1.
Plan, implement and maintain an Information Technology infrastructure that supports MARTAC’s IT needs in all departments including a strong Cyber Security capability.
2.
Guide and implement an Information Assurance process resulting in MARTAC’s IA certification and product accreditation in the U.
S.
DoD and international organizations where needed.
3.
Perform as a Registered Practitioner (RP) or better as certified through CyberAB.
org General IT Responsibilities · Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff · Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems) · Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget · Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology · Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance · Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems · Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff · Work with and coordinate third party providers · Solicit and evaluate RFP responses for approved vendor provided systems and support.
*Information Security* · Establishes and administers overall strategies and procedures to assure information security · Plans and implements information security and disaster recovery programs and processes.
*Information Assurance (IA)* The MARTAC Sr.
Mgmt.
staff will need guidance and education as to how an IA infrastructure is created and implemented – especially the effects on the workforce and budget implications.
Immediate Job TasksIT Infrastructure · Evaluate the current IT infrastructure regarding: o Current and future MARTAC needs.
o Capabilities to serve workforce needs o Cyber security o Equipment & Technology o Policies and Procedures o Access Controls o Data loss prevention · Create a strategic IT plan, an “IT blueprint” for MARTAC · Review the Strategic IT plan with Senior Management and modify as needed.
· The Strategic IT plan will cover at least the following basics: o Clear objectives o Current and future needs and plan to address those o Resources needed with cost estimates – technical, physical and personnel o Priorities o Milestones o Measures of success · Once the Strategic plan has been approved, you will create detailed project plans to implement the strategies.
· On review and approval of the detailed project plan, work with Senior Management to secure resources and execute the plan.
· Report progress on plan regularly in accordance with Senior Management communication practices.
Information Assurance (IA) Create an Information Assurance roadmap and educate MARTAC Sr.
Mgmt.
staff as to how an IA infrastructure is created and implemented – especially the effects on the workforce productivity and budget implications.
Similar to the IT infrastructure tasks, you will be responsible for the following: · A strategic IA plan (roadmap/blueprint) with clear objectives and success criteria.
· A detailed IA project plan with near term resource needs and milestones · Regular status updates on progress with a focus on certification and accreditation authority driven milestones Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $100,000.
