New Horizons is a nonprofit agency seeking a caring and compassionate Assistant Team Leader ,to assist the Program Manager in organizing, controlling and directing clinical and administrative activities for the assigned Recovery Support Team.
As an Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate authorizations for all supervised services.

As an Assistant Team Leader your responsibilities will include:
Assist Program Manager in providing overall direction for the Assigned Recovery Support Team.
Assures that the Recovery Support workers operate within the policies, procedures and protocols established by New Horizons of the Treasure Coast, Inc.
Assist the Program Manage to assure the quality of services provided within the Recovery Continuum.
Assures that all program staff are qualified to perform their assigned duties
Assures that all services provided by individual Recovery Support Workers or the Team are delivered in a coordinated manner when provided in conjunction with other service modalities or providers.
Assures that all records are kept in accordance with the requirements that of Agency policies and procedures, as well as the requirements of all funding organizations, accrediting bodies and commercial insurance payers.
Provides Coordination, Assessment, and Emergency services.
Performs other duties as requested.
Requirements:
New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in a Human Services field
Minimum of one year of full time or equivalent experience working with a severely and persistently mentally ill population (will complete AHCA approved mental health targeted case management training within three months of hire)
Must have a valid Florida Driver's License with 6 points or less in the last 5 years.
