*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
* Coordinate and coach theater staff to successfully perform their duties.
* Reinforce wardrobe policy with theater staff.
* Observe theater staff performance and provide feedback for performance evaluations.
* Supervise, coach, and coordinate theater crew for compliance with Food Handling and Sanitation protocols.
* Perform daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties.
* Oversee opening and closing procedures outside of operating hours.
* Assign registers and balance cash, cash equivalents, and coupons from individual drawers.
* Prepare deposits and accurately complete appropriate cash handling forms.
* Open support tickets for point-of-sale issues and follow up for resolution.
* Resolve guest questions, concerns, and issues.
* Listen, communicate, and work effectively with guests and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
* Deliver excellent customer service to all patrons.
* Effectively train and motivate employees to reach highest potential.
* Ensure films start on time with exceptional sound and projection quality.
*SKILLS*
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate directions and expectations to staff and management.
* Sincere desire to build, coach, and develop successful teams.
* Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them, even without clear precedent or direction.
* Proven experience as a Shift Manager or relevant role.
* Availability to work different shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
* Basic knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
* A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in MS Suite and digital content handling.
* Ability to learn all relevant software (scheduling, point-of-sale, etc)
*MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS*
* Age 18 or older.
* Relevant college degree preferred, but not required.
* One year of managerial or commensurate leadership experience.
* Proven experience with cost controls resulting in positive impact on P&L.
* Interest in future General Manager Positions strongly preferred.
* Entrepreneurial attitude combined with a passion for the theater industry.
* Hands on management style with a desire to foster growth.
Requirements to be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation:
* Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into dumpster or trash compactor)
