As a Car Wash Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the AutoSpa/Car Wash locations throughout the US.
Ensuring maximum profitability of assigned AutoSpa/Car Wash locations, achieving operational excellence, creating a working environment that supports team member engagement and promoting the Company Core Values are paramount to the role.
Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee day to day AutoSpa/Car Wash operations to ensure operational excellence to maximize profits by partnering with various departments throughout the organization.
P & L management for assigned Car Wash/AutoSpa locations through monitoring of sales, expenses, labor costs and chemical inventory control (District/Regional Territory)
Develop and execute recommendations for improving the business in existing locations
Assist in the development of all AutoSpa/Car Wash Operations standards, expectations, resources, and training for all existing and new site team members
Partner with Retail Operations and Store/Car Wash Manager to maintain the highest level of executional performance from Car Wash team members
Partner with the Retail Operations team to develop solid talent to meet growth, address attrition, and drive a sustainable succession plan
Partner with the Retail Operations team to provide feedback, coaching, support, opportunities for development, complete performance appraisals, and take corrective action when appropriate.
Drive Club memberships that will help drive sales and profitability
Maintain local vendor relationships for all aspects of the AutoSpa/Car Wash to ensure smooth and consistent operational execution (Service, chemicals, etc)
Working Relationships: Site Operations Manager, Store Manager, Car Wash Program Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Vice President, Store team members, Company personnel, and various vendors.
Minimum Education: High School or GED
Preferred Education: BS in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years Car Wash Management and Car Wash Repair
Preferred Experience: 5-8 years Car Wash Management and Car Wash Repair Licenses/Certifications: N/A
Soft Skills:
Experience managing multi-site car wash operations, ideally for industry-leading brands
Exceptional organizational, management, and leadership skills
Highly developed consultative and facilitative project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High degree of professionalism
Aptitude in decision making and problem-solving
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Strong working knowledge of car wash operations and equipment, including repairs and maintenance

Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team member
Hours & Conditions: Scheduling Typically Monday Friday for a 40 hour work week.
However, weekend work will be required when emergent issues arise and business needs dictate.
Travel: 75% Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures).
