Capt Hirams is searching for a committed, proactive Front of House Restaurant Manager who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
The FOH Manager will promote and grow the business, hire and train waitstaff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service.
You will also manage inventory and resources, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction.
You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.
This position requires nights, weekends, holidays, and shift work.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Ensure that guests always feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service
* Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s serving standards
* Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees
* Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
* Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
* Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner
* Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
* Communicate with fellow Managers, General Manager, and staff pertaining to any issues, concerns, points of interest, advice, or suggestions
* Oversee and ensure consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules and procedures
* Table touch during your shift
* Any additional task that is deemed necessary in the future
*EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE:*
* High school diploma
* Restaurant management experience or more education is generally preferred
* Strong understanding of business management
* Ability to think critically and efficiently
* Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
