We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator with extensive experience in Canvas to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, support, and integration of our Canvas LMS platform and connected systems.
They will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of online courses, training materials, and educational resources.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing the learning experience through innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities: Administer and configure the Canvas LMS platform and connected systems to meet the needs of faculty, students, and administrators under the direction of IT leadership Field incident escalations, troubleshoot user issues with LMS systems, and resolve system-related problems in a timely manner Leverage the knowledgebase and provide knowledge to support teams Manage user accounts, enrollments, course creations, organizations, and permissions in LMS systems Collaborate with instructional designers and academic units to develop and implement best practices for online course design and delivery Work with instructional team to conduct training sessions and workshops to educate faculty and staff on the use of Canvas features and functionalities Stay informed about updates, new services, and emerging trends in educational technology and online learning Monitor system performance, analyze data, and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of the LMS Audit student activities, access logs,.
and configurations to support academic integrity Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
