Come join our team and start moving your career forward! Role: The Regional Safety Manager reports to the Director of Health and Safety and monitors workplace activities in their assigned region to promote and ensure employee compliance with applicable safety regulations.
The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, assessing risk, and interacting with Federal, State, and Local authorities within their assigned region.
The Regional Safety Manager conducts safety training, investigates incidents/accidents, and provides recommendations for improvement, aiming to create a safe and compliant workplace within their region.

Evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
Coordinates the administration and facilitation of employee training on applicable safety standards.
Reviews safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.
Conducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations and ensures all required safety training is completed.
Detects hazardous conditions and assumes appropriate follow-up on unsafe conditions.
Consults with regional leadership including AVP, OM, and ASM’s to recommend preventive or corrective measures relating to processes, potential gaps in safety and or personal protective equipment.
Maintains knowledge of and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Coordinates with all OSHA inspectors and FMCSA regulations Implements internal safety standards and policies.
Reviews daily, accidents and incidents reported by employees through companies Health and Safety Portal and follows up with employee and managers.
Completes applicable steps in Health and Safety Portal to complete and move process forward.
Visits facilities/offices in their region as needed, preferably at least twice per year.
Provides safety plans and recommendations on unsafe issues within their region.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies Extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Proficient in Company Health and Safety Portal Proficient in Company Driving Software for monitoring safe driving behavior.
Ability to conduct training.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required preferred.
Minimum of two (2) year of related experience required.
Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service/construction business preferred.
Physical requirements: Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
Continuously able to work in office/field Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the Occasionally able to lift up to 25+ at a time.
Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching.
Occasionally Requires Ability to travel as needed up to 50%
