As the Manager in Patient Transportation, you will manage the technical and administrative functions of the assigned Patient Transportation function.
• Acts as a technical resource for team members assigned to the group.
• Collaborates with other supervisors in the department to achieve the goals of the department and the Clinic.
• Implements short/long-term goals consistent with those of Patient Transportation and clinical units.

Responsibilities:
Leads the technical and administrative functions of Patient Transportation service functions for the assigned operational units.
Manages quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas.
Interprets and ensures compliance with all appropriate codes and standards.
Provides direct supervision of assigned Patient Transportation team members.
Ensures that all members have a performance management program.
Ensures that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program.
Ensures regular evaluation and mentoring of all team members.
Assists with the development and implementation of programs for the professional growth of members in areas of responsibility, both technical and behavioral.
Participates in the development of environmental services operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.
Increases efficiency and effectiveness of Patient Transportation services activities with a goal of decreasing expenses.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Certifications:
None required.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required.
Patient Transportation experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting of 50 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range: $27.
65 - $42.
17 / hour
