We used this recorder to convert many VCR videos to DVDs, including wedding videos.
All worked fine.
Some patience is needed to learn and work through the VCR-to-DVD copying process.
Once you get the hang of it, all works fine.
Overall, it has seen very little use; never abused.
The recorder can be a bit finicky with some DVD-R/W and DVD-R brands (unit supports both plus and minus formats).
If you encounter issues when recording, try using a few different DVD brands.
It pumps out recorded DVDs that are compatible with every DVD player I played them on.
I tested this recorder just before placing this ad, and it’s fully operational, including the remote control, which uses 2xAA batteries.
