This is a position that works a flexible schedule based on program operation hours, ideally Monday to Friday.
The pay is $12 -15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications such as DCF mandated 45 hours and industry credentials.
This position is onsite at our center located here in Palm Bay, FL – Brevard County

The Preschool Teacher plans and implements curriculum, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children.
You’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children of all ages.
What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Responsible for the supervision of children and management of a well-ordered classroom environment that ensure safety, cleanliness, and wellbeing.
• Update bulletin boards with appropriate monthly theme, lesson plan overview, parent / student
highlights, classroom newsletter, pertinent information.
• Label, organize, and keep track of children’s personal belongings.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent conference, and school functions.
What We Need from You:
• High School Diploma and/or GED or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
• FL DCF 45 hours required, and CDA preferred

• Must clear a level II background check
• Some professional early childhood training/experience
• CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment

• Strong communication skills and technology use skills
