“ART OF BATIK The art of batik, or wax dying, as it is called in Chinese, is one of the most precious artistic heritages of China.
It first originated during the period of the Six dynasties (220-589 A.
D.
), when people dyed fabrics into desired patterns or colors by using dyes mixed in wax deposits.
It flourished during the Tang dynasty, it’s exquisite beaty enhancing the brilliance of the culture of that famous period in Chinese history.
While batik painting, needless to say, is executed entirely by hand through complicated processes, batik printing also requires painstaking handicraft techniques.
The main feature of its products is their complicated rails which vary from product to product, making them different from any other printed art product.
The products we are presenting to the public represent our effort to remind people of the brilliance and beauty of this ancient art.
