The Title Insurance Processor supports the organization’s mission to provide superior quality, lasting value, and outstanding customer service through the day-to-day workflow processes that affect HB Title, Inc.
The Title Insurance Processor assists the Settlement/Closing Agent in the preparation, review, and verification of all documentation necessary for the closing transaction.
This position is also responsible for handling the disbursal of checks and other financial documentation related to the closing transaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order entry, order title searches, upload title searches and order required items for closing.
Schedules closings with parties involved in transaction as needed.
Acts as a liaison for Settlement/Closing Agent with other departments and customers (internal and external)
Reviews closing documents for accuracy (pre-closing and post-closing)
Ensures accurate and timely disbursal of checks (funds) related to closings/transactions.
Identifies underwriting concerns and notifies closer and/or appropriate parties concerned according to established company guidelines.
Responsible for clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating of all of the pre- and post- documents related to the closing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education / experience preferred.
Minimum one (1) year previous experience in pre- and post-closing procedures required.

Physical Demands
Able to lift, push, or move 10 to 25 pounds without assistance.
Requires the ability to climb, stoop, kneel or crouch to gain access to equipment, files, and office supplies.
