Job Description The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for administrative and clerical support to the below list.
Managing Director Customer Support Team Trainees Head of Immigrations Provide support to the SAA Immigration Coordinator and Customer Support to carry out tasks related to the needs of the Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and Alien Flight School Program (AFSP)/Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for international students.
Learn and provide functionality as a SEVP Designated School Official (DSO) for international students/clients and in support of SAA Immigration Coordinator the Academy and additional learning centers.
Provide functionality as a TSA School Agent for AFSP on a center-based level.
Communicate and coordinate with SAA Immigration Coordinator regarding daily work responsibilities.
Handle daily information requests from prospects and trainees, in person or on the telephone; answer, take messages or refer inquiries.
Address or facilitate assistance for the needs of trainee’s queries and admissions procedures.
Manage the admissions and onboarding for SAA.
Maintain relevant records and documentation as required by the role.
Close coordination with Sales, Finance, Immigration and Admissions to ensure all potential trainees are being tracked and required documents collected.
Develop document tracking and collection location within either SalesForce or FlightLogger Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers, in person and in telephone conversations.
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Prioritize workflow on a daily basis.
Qualifications EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: (Minimum Requirements) High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.
E.
D.
–demonstrated satisfactory performance in the General Educational Development Testing Program) required.
One to two (1-2) years’ experience in customer service preferred.
SOFTWARE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
General knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
Other software programs may be required, as needed.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read, and write.
Aviation terminology/background desired, but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills: excellent grammar and spelling Excellent organizational skills Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner Type 40+ wpm (computer user with minimum typing skills) Able to work unsupervised, as needed Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations Ability to interact with varied customer base (current and/or prospective) while providing high level of customer service.
Additional Information Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, Onsite Salary range $16-18 per hour, (DOE) At Skyborne we take care of our employees.
