Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education.
This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 5% of annual eligible earnings.
Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.
Interested applicants must be willing and able to work onsite 3 times per week in our Melbourne, FL office.

The Job
The Cost Strategy Analyst is responsible for securing favorable pricing/agreements with medical providers on eligible medical bills.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of eligible medical cases; approval authority up to $250,000
Negotiate eligible member needs with providers via phone, fax and email
Manage a caseload of eligible medical cases, adhering to department SLAs for timely resolution
Establish, cultivate, and maintain positive working relationships with providers, provider groups, and 3rd party billers
Accurately determine research-based pricing standards on eligible cases
Create, amend, and validate single and multi-case agreements to secure favorable case resolutions
Research and stay current on all state and national medical trends and billing practices
Collaborate with department leadership, team members, and other departments to effectively identify new work trends, improve upon established team processes, and solve problems and escalations
Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred
2 years' experience in a negotiation-related field (sales, contracts, medical) required
Working familiarity with all ICD 10/CPT codes, and medical terminology required
Familiarity with best coding practices preferred
